Did you know that right here in our own country about six million animals enter the shelter system every year? Out of that six million, almost a million innocent lives are euthanized due to overcrowding in the shelters. All animals in shelters are in desperate need of a second chance. Most of the animals have been lost, defeated, abandoned, and abused. Thankfully, over the last decade, our country now has about 14,000 no-kill rescues to help save these poor souls from dreaded fate. Animal rescue groups work tirelessly to pull these animals facing euthanasia, with hopes of finding them the home, they all truly deserve. After visiting some very high kill shelters in SC and GA with HFGDR this summer, I can honestly say, it was gut-wrenching. You can never be prepared for the sad reality of what really happens in this country. The faces of those, that couldn't be saved will forever haunt me.

To have a digital painting created, using your own images:

You will need:

Please donate to the designated rescues fundraising page that is currently campaigning: (suggested donation is $25 per image/per pet) ***No physical prints are sent***

A clear image (can be from a cell phone as well) of the head and neck with good lighting and focus. Also, please tell me the pets' gender and the pet's name.

One-Time Donations - Home For Good Dogs | NJ Rescue

JMP's official rescue for all pet portraits through my website will be Home For Good Dog Rescue. Home For Good Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)based in Berkeley Heights, NJ. HFGDR rescues dogs from high-kill shelters in the south, transports them to New Jersey, and finds them their forever homes that they all truly deserve. Since their inception 10 years ago, they have saved 10,000 beautiful lives that otherwise, may not be alive today.
